Senior Analyst

London, Hybrid

Salary up to £60,000

This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact senior individual contributor role, owning some of the most commercially critical metrics in a large digital subscription business. You will take end-to-end responsibility for lifetime value and revenue analytics, shaping how customer value is understood and used across marketing and growth teams.

The Company They are a large, global, digital-first media and content organisation with a strong international audience. The business has a well-established subscription and contribution model, with reader revenue at the core of its commercial strategy. Data plays a central role in driving growth, experimentation and long-term planning. The analytics function partners closely with marketing, product and strategy teams to influence decision-making at scale.

The Role You will operate as a senior, hands-on analyst with ownership of critical models, metrics and reporting across marketing and reader revenue.

  • Own and continuously improve lifetime value and revenue models across multiple products, working toward a unified customer view.
  • Maintain and optimise dbt data models, resolving failures, improving performance and building new models as products and metrics evolve.
  • Take ownership of key dashboards for marketing channels and campaigns, ensuring accuracy, reliability and clear interpretation rather than day-to-day build work.
  • Support experimentation and A/B testing by providing analytical input into test design, measurement and evaluation beyond BAU activity.
  • Partner with stakeholders across marketing, growth and strategy to provide trusted reporting, insight and guidance on performance and customer behaviour.
  • Contribute to strategic analysis including customer segmentation, contact base understanding and business planning inputs.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong commercial experience operating at Senior Analyst level in a data-led marketing or subscription environment.
  • Proven ownership of lifetime value, revenue metrics and related concepts such as attribution and experimentation.
  • Advanced SQL capability with experience using Python for analysis.
  • Experience working with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Exposure to dbt and modern analytics engineering practices is desirable but not essential.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
