This is a senior individual contributor opportunity where you will take ownership of critical revenue and customer metrics in a data driven subscription focused organisation.

The Company We are a large, digital first media organisation with a global audience and a strong commitment to long term sustainability. We are owned by a trust with no private investors, which means no paywalls and a clear focus on reinvesting revenue into the product and the reader experience. Most of our income comes from subscriptions and reader contributions, supported by advertising. Analytics sits at the heart of how we grow, retain and understand our readership.

The Role

You will play a key role in improving how lifetime value and performance are measured, trusted and used to drive readership growth and retention.

  • Own lifetime value and core performance metrics across marketing and reader revenue
  • Build, fix and improve Lifetime Value models, supporting a move towards a more unified customer view across products
  • Maintain and enhance data models, including supporting and improving dbt models to ensure reliability and performance
  • Own key dashboards used across the business, ensuring they run correctly, are accurate and trusted, rather than building them from scratch
  • Provide strategic analytical input into experimentation and A/B testing beyond business-as-usual activity
  • Partner with stakeholders across marketing, reader revenue and strategy to interpret metrics and support growth initiatives
  • Contribute to longer term insight work including customer segmentation, readership behaviour and revenue planning

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong commercial experience operating as a senior analyst
  • Proven ownership of lifetime value or similar customer revenue metrics
  • Experience with attribution and marketing performance analysis
  • Advanced SQL skills and strong hands-on experience using Python
  • Experience working with Power BI or Tableau to support insight and reporting
  • Comfortable working independently and supporting senior
