Oxford | Hybrid (2 days onsite)

The Role

I'm partnering with an innovative organisation looking to hire a Senior Analytics Engineer to help develop and optimise its cloud-based data platform. Reporting into the Head of Data , you'll be responsible for building scalable data solutions, developing ETL/ELT pipelines, enhancing enterprise reporting, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver robust analytics across the business.

Requirements:

• Strong SQL experience (Essential)
• Microsoft Fabric experience (Essential)
• Azure SQL Server
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Azure Synapse
• ETL/ELT pipeline development
• Python
• Azure DevOps (CI/CD)
• Git
• Power BI or similar BI tools
• Experience designing and maintaining cloud-based data platforms

Nice to have and will make you stand out:

• Data modelling (Star/Snowflake Schema)
• NoSQL databases (e.g. Cosmos DB, MongoDB)
• C#
• Data governance and GDPR knowledge
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Legacy system migration experience
• Experience working with offshore teams
