The Role

You will lead the delivery of analytics and data engineering projects while acting as a trusted advisor to clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering and leading analytics, business intelligence, and data engineering projects.
  • Designing and implementing scalable cloud-based data solutions.
  • Building data models and transformation pipelines using modern data stack technologies.
  • Developing dashboards, reporting solutions, and data visualisations.
  • Leading client workshops, technical discussions, and solution design sessions.
  • Defining solution architectures and translating business requirements into technical outcomes.
  • Managing project risks, resolving blockers, and ensuring successful delivery.
  • Mentoring colleagues and contributing to internal best practices and capability development.
  • Supporting innovation and the adoption of new technologies across projects.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience with Google Cloud, BigQuery, dbt, and Looker.
  • Experience delivering analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering projects in a consulting environment.
  • Advanced SQL, data modelling, cloud data warehousing, and database design expertise.
  • Experience with software engineering practices including Git and CI/CD.
  • A Google Cloud Data Engineer certification or a willingness to work towards one.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Experience with tools such as Snowflake, Fivetran, Airbyte, Segment, Power BI, or similar technologies would be advantageous.
