This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analytics Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of analytics within a highly innovative organisation. You'll have the chance to influence analytics strategy, champion modern data practices, and drive the adoption of AI and self-service analytics, all while remaining hands-on and close to delivery.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior Analytics Manager will:

  • Drive analytics innovation through AI, modern tooling, and evolving data platforms
  • Define and implement strategies for semantic layers, metric governance, and self-service analytics
  • Improve technical standards, scalability, and consistency across analytics practices
  • Partner with senior leaders to shape the future direction of analytics
  • Influence stakeholders and drive business-wide adoption of analytics best practices
  • Lead experimentation with emerging technologies and scale successful solutions
  • Own strategically important analytics products and executive reporting
  • Define, govern, and evolve key business metrics and reporting frameworks
  • Contribute to platform, tooling, and analytics architecture decisions
  • Act as a trusted advisor on analytics strategy and capability development

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong commercial experience in analytics, business intelligence, analytics engineering, or data strategy
  • Advanced technical capabilities across analytics tools, coding, data modelling, and analytics architecture
  • Experience working with semantic layers, metric governance, and self-service analytics environments
  • Knowledge of modern data stack technologies, with exposure to dbt considered highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead change across complex organisations
  • Strong interest in AI and emerging technologies, with an understanding of their application within analytics
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
  • Comfortable operating in dynamic and evolving environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Financial services experience is beneficial but not essential
