THE ROLE:
You will take ownership of Azure cloud architecture and engineering across the business, acting as the technical authority within a small but highly impactful cloud function.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Designing, building, and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Acting as a subject matter expert, providing architectural guidance and solution design
  • Supporting internal consultants with cloud solutioning and infrastructure recommendations
  • Building and managing cloud resources (VMs, SQL Servers, Web Apps, Docker environments)
  • Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub
  • Driving a code-first approach with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation
  • Leading on cloud integrations, including Azure Integration Services
  • Supporting governance, security, compliance, backup, and recovery processes
  • Contributing to AI-driven and innovation-focused internal projects
  • Mentoring junior engineers and setting technical standards across the team
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
You will bring strong capability in:
  • Hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering and architecture
  • Designing scalable, secure cloud solutions end-to-end
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (ideally Bicep or Terraform)
  • Building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
  • Cloud automation using PowerShell and Azure CLI
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Security, governance, and compliance within cloud environments
