SENIOR CREDIT RISK MANAGER LONDON | UP TO £110,000 This is a unique opportunity to join a growing FinTech lender in a highly strategic credit role. You will take ownership of innovative lending and pricing initiatives, helping to shape the future direction of the business while driving sustainable growth and improving portfolio performance.THE COMPANY They are an established FinTech operating within the unsecured consumer lending market. The business is entering an exciting growth phase and is investing heavily in the evolution of its credit capabilities.With strong foundations already in place across credit operations and risk management, they are focused on developing new lending strategies, enhancing pricing sophistication, and creating long-term competitive advantages through innovation.THE ROLE* Lead strategic credit risk and lending initiatives from concept through to implementation and measurable business impact* Develop innovative credit and pricing strategies to support growth while maintaining strong portfolio performance* Identify new customer segments, lending propositions, and acquisition opportunities* Evaluate commercial opportunities across customer lifecycle management, re-lending, and portfolio expansion* Build business cases and assess the commercial viability of new initiatives* Partner closely with Credit Risk, Commercial, Product, Finance, and Operations teams to drive delivery* Support the development of advanced and more personalised lending and pricing capabilities* Take ownership of projects through implementation and successful transition into business-as-usual processes YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE* Strong commercial experience within consumer lending, credit risk, credit strategy, or pricing strategy* Experience working within FinTech or an entrepreneurial lending environment is essential* Proven ability to deliver strategic credit initiatives that balance growth and risk objectives* Advanced SQL skills* Python experience or a willingness to further develop Python capabilities* Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills* Comfortable operating as a hands-on individual contributor with a high level of ownership* Ability to challenge existing approaches and bring innovative ideas to complex business problems WHAT THEY OFFER* Salary up to £110,000 * Hybrid working model with 3-4 days per week in the London office* Significant ownership and visibility across senior leadership* Opportunity to shape credit strategy, pricing strategy, and new lending capabilities* Exposure to high-impact transformation and innovation projects* Clear progression opportunities within a growing FinTech business* Collaborative environment that encourages experimentation, innovation, and commercial thinking HOW TO APPLY Please register your interest by sending your CV through the Apply link.
