Are you passionate about using data to drive real-world impact in the green tech space? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing, sustainability-focused business that's revolutionising how we power electric vehicles across the UK.

You'll work closely with the Head of Data to shape the company's analytical direction and deliver actionable insights that directly influence commercial, operational, and energy strategies.

The Role

As Data Scientist, you'll act as the analytical lead across the business - tackling forecasting, pricing, and data modelling projects to support commercial, operations, energy, and marketing teams. You'll help answer key strategic questions, such as:

  • How should we price energy dynamically across the day?

  • What patterns exist in customer charging behaviour?

  • How can we use data to drive operational efficiency and profitability?

This is a hands-on analytical role, ideal for someone who enjoys statistical problem-solving, building predictive models, and presenting clear insights that drive action - but not a pure machine learning role.

About You

  • Solid grounding in statistical analysis and forecasting methods

  • Commercially minded - able to connect technical outputs to business goals

  • Excellent communicator, proactive and adaptable to a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable working in a smaller, scaling data team

  • Ideally some exposure to AWS / Snowflake / Power BI

Why Join
  • Work in a purpose-driven, sustainability-focused organisation

  • Be part of a rapidly scaling team with genuine ownership and impact

  • Shape data-driven decisions in one of the UK's most exciting green tech businesses
