You'll play a key role in delivering business-critical reporting and customer analytics, helping stakeholders make informed decisions while supporting a busy analytics function as the permanent team is rebuilt.The Company They are a customer-focused organisation operating across multiple channels and locations, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making. Their analytics team supports a wide range of stakeholders by providing insight into customer behaviour, performance metrics and operational reporting. As a contractor, you will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact by ensuring the delivery of accurate, actionable analysis.The Role and Deliverables

• Deliver regular reporting, KPI tracking and customer analytics across multiple business channels and locations.
• Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and business needs.
• Produce insights using SQL and Excel to support decision making across the organisation.
• Support executive reporting through the delivery of accurate and timely performance analysis.
• Investigate data anomalies, identify root causes and ensure reporting quality and integrity.
• Highlight opportunities for deeper analysis and additional business insight where appropriate.

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong SQL skills with the ability to extract, manipulate and analyse data effectively.
• Advanced Excel experience for reporting, analysis and data validation.
• Strong experience producing reporting and analytics for business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to investigate data issues and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with large, complex or imperfect datasets.
• Ability to translate data into clear, meaningful business insights.
• Strong analytical mindset with a curious and proactive approach to problem solving.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change.
• Experience with Python and Snowflake is beneficial.
• Experience within retail, customer-facing industries, or customer analytics environments is advantageous.
