SENIOR DATA CONSULTANTLONDON/HYBRIDUP TO £70,000This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing data and technology consultancy delivering large-scale data transformation, analytics engineering, and software development projects. You'll combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership, helping to shape engineering standards, mentor colleagues, and influence complex client engagements.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The Senior Data Consultant will:
- Design and build scalable data pipelines, data platforms, and analytics solutions
- Lead technical delivery across multiple client engagements
- Develop data models, warehouse architectures, and integration solutions
- Review code and maintaining high engineering standards
- Mentor and supporting Engineers through coaching and technical guidance
- Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
- Present recommendations and updates to senior stakeholders
- Influence architecture, tooling, and platform decisions
- Support data migration, system integration, and transformation programmes
- Work across modern cloud environments and client-specific technology stacks
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong commercial experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, BI, or a similar field
- Advanced SQL skills and strong expertise with dbt
- Experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines and data platforms
- Knowledge of Python, APIs, and Git
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Databricks, or BigQuery
- Strong data modelling and warehousing expertise
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience leading projects, workstreams, or technical delivery initiatives
- A mentoring mindset with a genuine interest in supporting the development of others
- Strong academic background in a STEM subject
