Senior Data Modelling Consultant

Location: UK (Hybrid)Permanent role, up to £88k + bonus + benefits

We're working with a leading financial services consultancy to hire a Senior Data Modelling Consultant to support large-scale data transformation and migration programmes. This role offers the chance to work with major financial institutions on complex, high-impact data initiatives.Key Responsibilities:

* Analyse business requirements to define data structures and usage* Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models* Collaborate with architects and SMEs to design data solutions* Define data entities, relationships, and source-to-target mappings* Support data governance and ensure adherence to standards* Contribute to physical data model implementation

Requirements:

* Strong data modelling experience in financial services* Proven experience on data migration / transformation programmes* Expertise across conceptual, logical, and physical modelling* Strong stakeholder management skills* Experience working in Agile environments* Knowledge of UML, RDBMS, JSON/XML* Knowledge/experience of Erwin

Desirable:

* Knowledge of industry data standards (e.g. fpML, FIX, FIBO)* Experience with ontologies (RDF/OWL/TTL)* SQL and/or Python
