THE COMPANY:
I'm working with a central data function in financial services that's building a high-performing platform team at the core of their data strategy. With a strong push towards modern cloud architecture, they're expanding their infrastructure capabilities and are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help scale and support new tools and systems.
THE ROLE:
You'll take the lead on Azure DevOps strategy, collaborate closely with platform and data teams, and help roll out new AI tools in a secure, production-ready way. You'll also play a key part in mentoring junior engineers and shaping the long-term DevOps roadmap.
- Architect and build scalable Azure infrastructure and deployment pipelines
- Lead integration of Databricks, Azure services, and CI/CD workflows
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)
- Mentor junior DevOps engineer
- Establish and govern DevOps best practices, automation, and security standards
- Guide adoption of Microsoft's new AI tools in production environments
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
A successful Senior DevOps Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience with Azure
- Hands-on Terraform experience (IaC mindset is essential)
- Experience with CI/CD tools
- Experience integrating AI/ML pipelines
THE BENEFITS:
You will receive a salary, dependent on experience. Salary is up to £60,000 On top of the salary there are some fantastic extra benefits.
