Senior Manager / Associate Director - Valuations
Salary £120,000-£150,000
Location + work pattern London (hybrid working, 2-3 days per week in the office)

THE ROLE

This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and owning the valuations and NPV modelling capability across multiple consumer lending portfolios. The position plays a critical role in enabling smarter credit decisioning and long-term portfolio strategy.
Specifically, you can expect to be involved in:
  • Leading the development and ownership of NPV, IRR and valuation models across several lending products.
  • Partnering closely with Product, Risk, Finance and Impairment teams to improve forecasting accuracy and valuation approaches.
  • Driving innovation in how valuation models are designed, applied and embedded into live credit decisioning.
  • Developing best-in-class valuation methodologies at both portfolio and account level.
  • Line managing and mentoring a small team of analysts, with close collaboration with data science teams.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Strong experience in valuations, NPV and IRR modelling within consumer lending or retail credit. -- this needs to be clear on your CV.
  • Proven ability to design and build models from scratch, with strong conceptual thinking.
  • Experience moving beyond simple curve-based approaches into more advanced modelling techniques.
  • Comfortable working with Python in a production analytics environment; SQL is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated people leadership skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
