Senior Product Analyst

Senior Product Analyst - Contract

£400 Per Day

6 Months

This is an opportunity to join a high-performing product team at a pivotal moment, supporting them through a period of high demand and increasing complexity. You will focus on experiment evaluation and product decision support, not just reporting, so your analysis will have a direct and visible impact on what gets built and shipped. This part-time, 6 month contract starting in February 2026 is well suited to an experienced product analyst who enjoys owning analysis end to end and working with autonomy.

The Company

They are a digital product-led organisation that relies heavily on data to inform strategy, prioritisation and delivery. The teams you will support run frequent experiments and make data-informed decisions about new features and customer journeys. They work in a fast-moving, collaborative environment where clear, actionable insights are valued over lengthy reports. As a specialist contractor, you will be brought in to ease pressure on the permanent team and bring additional analytical rigor to experimentation.

The Role and Deliverables

  • Own end to end analytical work for product experiments and initiatives, from defining the analytical approach through to final recommendations.
  • Design and support experimentation analysis, including A/B tests, covering metric definition, validation and results interpretation.
  • Query, validate and interpret complex data using SQL and Python, ensuring outputs are robust enough to inform key product decisions.
  • Communicate analytical insights clearly to product, engineering and stakeholder teams, focusing on "good enough to decide" rather than perfection.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to clarify questions, decision needs and ensure analytical and statistical rigor in methods used.
  • Contribute to reusable analysis assets such as documentation, templates and frameworks that make experimentation evaluation more efficient.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong SQL and Python skills, including complex joins, aggregations and data validation on large or messy datasets.
  • Solid understanding of experimentation and statistics, with hands-on experience evaluating A/B tests and product experiments.
  • Background working in fast-moving product teams where analysis directly supports product roadmaps and feature decisions.
  • Confidence working with incomplete or imperfect data and still providing clear, pragmatic recommendations.
  • Ability to explain analytical approaches and findings to non-technical stakeholders in a concise and accessible way.
  • Proven track record of operating independently as a contractor, quickly integrating into existing teams and taking ownership of analyses.
