What you'll be doing:

• Leading back-end development with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails.

• Collaborating with product managers to refine specs and shape solutions.

• Preparing integration plans, estimations, and delivering high-quality, production-ready code.

• Reviewing PRs, ensuring best practices, and mentoring mid-level engineers.

• Driving innovation while maintaining a strong user-first mindset.

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years' experience as a back-end or full-stack engineer, with recent, hands-on Ruby on Rails expertise.

• Proven experience scaling products used by thousands (or millions!) of users.

• Strong background in agile, fast-paced environments (start-ups, scale-ups, or similar).

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

• Ownership mentality - someone who takes pride in building and delivering great products.

• Comfortable working on products that may involve uncensored or NSFW content.

Nice-to-haves:

• Knowledge or interest in generative AI, NLP, ML, or MLOps.

• Experience working with globally distributed teams.
