The Role
You will play a key role in developing and enhancing a sports media rights data product, supporting both syndicated research and bespoke client projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Tracking and analysing sports media rights deals across global markets.
- Maintaining and developing databases covering rights agreements and associated market data.
- Supporting the valuation of media rights contracts using proprietary modelling approaches.
- Producing client-facing reports, research notes, and analytical content.
- Identifying market trends and translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Supporting dashboard development and self-service data products.
- Researching how rights are packaged, distributed, and monetised across different sports and competitions.
- Contributing to thought leadership and industry analysis.

Collaborating with commercial teams to support client conversations and product development initiatives.
Your Skills & Experience

Strong commercial experience within sports media rights, sports research, strategy, analytics or consulting.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in analysis, reporting, and financial or commercial modelling.
- Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail and confidence identifying trends and patterns.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly through written reports and stakeholder discussions.
- Passion for the sports industry and an interest in developing deep sector expertise.
- Experience using PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office tools.

Exposure to SQL, Python, or other analytical tools would be advantageous but is not essential.
