Staff Frontend Engineer

This is a senior IC role (no people management), focused on technical ownership, UI architecture, and delivering next-gen UX across an ambitious web platform. You'll collaborate closely with the CTO and product leadership on features used daily by some of the world's top financial, legal, and consulting firms.

• Work with modern tech: TypeScript, Vue.js (or React), component systems, design tools

• Own and evolve the frontend architecture for a high-performing web app

• Lead development of interactive, data-rich UIs (think custom diagrams, dashboards, visualisation tools)

• Set best practices for component design, accessibility, performance, and DX

• Drive technical decision-making and collaborate with backend, product, and design teams

• Partner with the CTO and CEO on high-stakes initiatives and fast-moving product pivots

• Contribute clean, scalable, and well-tested code, and help mentor peers in craft and standards

• Keep pushing the envelope-explore emerging frontend tech, AI/UX integrations, and smarter tooling

• Expert-level experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and a component-based framework (e.g., Vue, React, Angular)

• Proven track record of delivering frontend platforms that are complex, performant, and beautiful

• Deep understanding of frontend architecture, scalability, and maintainability in fast-changing environments

• Passion for clean code, design systems, and user-centric development

• Experience with frontend-focused DevOps and testing pipelines (CI/CD, GitHub Actions, etc.)

• Strong communicator who can translate complex technical ideas to stakeholders and collaborate across functions

• Bonus: experience in interactive diagramming, data visualisation, or canvas-based UI components.
