Southampton - Inside IR35This is an excellent opportunity to join a retail organisation on a high-impact analytics project within their Supply Chain and Logistics function. You'll work closely with operational and commercial stakeholders, helping them gain greater visibility of stock performance, supply chain efficiency, and key business trends through data-driven insights.The Company They are a leading consumer-focused organisation that is continuing to invest heavily in data and analytics capabilities across the business. Their Analytics team plays a critical role in supporting operational decision-making and driving continuous improvement. As demand for insight grows, they are expanding their supply chain analytics capability with an additional analyst to support a range of strategic and operational priorities.The Role and Deliverables

• Deliver analytical insight across supply chain and logistics operations, identifying trends, risks and opportunities within stock and inventory data.
• Support stakeholders with ad hoc analytical requests and business-critical reporting.
• Analyse stock health and inventory performance to help improve operational efficiency and product availability.
• Partner with supply chain, logistics and commercial teams to translate business challenges into actionable data solutions.
• Improve visibility of operational data through clear reporting, analysis and recommendations.
• Work closely with stakeholders across the business, including senior leaders within Data & Analytics and Supply Chain functions.

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong SQL skills with the ability to interrogate and analyse large, complex datasets.
• Experience delivering analytics within retail, ideally across supply chain, logistics, customer loyalty or commercial functions.
• Experience using Databricks or a similar cloud-based data platform.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on delivering measurable business impact.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading or owning analytics projects from requirement gathering through to delivery.
• Understanding of stock, inventory, supply chain or logistics performance metrics.
• Python experience is advantageous but not essential.
