UX Designer - Contract

UX Designer - Contract Online Healthcare £300-£350 per day - Outside IR35 Leeds - 1 day per week in the office

This is an opportunity to join a growing online healthcare business on a contract basis and have real ownership over UX across a core digital product. You will be the go-to UX specialist, shaping user journeys, guiding research, and elevating their existing design system during a key period of product improvement.

The Role and Deliverables

• Lead UX research to understand user needs and inform product decisions.
• Design intuitive user journeys across core digital touchpoints.
• Develop and refine components within the existing design system.
• Produce wireframes, flows, and prototypes to support product delivery.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering to ensure smooth implementation.
• Champion UX best practice across a small, cross functional team.

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong experience across the full UX lifecycle including user research and interaction design.
• Confident working with and contributing to design systems.
• Proactive approach with the ability to take ownership in a small team environment.
• Personable communicator who can work closely with product, engineering and leadership.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating well rounded UX capability.
