This is a key analyst hire for a growing digital and ecommerce team, offering real influence at the point where commercial decision making meets modern data and analytics. You will play a central role in helping the business move beyond static reporting towards insight that genuinely shapes digital trading performance.

Data is becoming a core enabler across ecommerce, marketing and onsite trading teams.

The Role You will sit between ecommerce stakeholders and the data engineering function, translating digital trading questions into meaningful analysis and clear data requirements.

  • Analyse ecommerce performance across the full digital funnel, from traffic through to conversion
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards used by commercial and trading stakeholders
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis to explain changes in traffic, conversion and revenue
  • Generate actionable insights to support onsite trading, merchandising and marketing decisions
  • Investigate GA4 tracking to identify gaps in events, parameters and definitions
  • Translate business questions into clear briefs for data engineers
  • Support data quality checks and ongoing improvement of digital data foundations

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong commercial experience in ecommerce or digital retail analytics
  • Confidence working with GA4, including the event and parameter model
  • Strong Power BI capability, including DAX and semantic modelling
  • Solid understanding of ecommerce trading metrics and funnel performance
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable working with data engineers to define data requirements

Nice to have experience includes GTM or data layer exposure, BigQuery or GA4 exports, Python, or paid media analytics, but these are not essential.
