GTM and Web Analytics Specialist London, Hybrid

Salary up to £46,000

This is a high impact role focused on building and optimising a robust, privacy compliant digital tracking setup that underpins confident, data driven decision making. You will play a central role in shaping how customer journeys are measured across web and app platforms, working closely with teams across the business to deliver scalable, high quality analytics.

The Role

  • Own and optimise Google Tag Manager across web and app environments to ensure accurate and reliable tracking
  • Partner with development, product, UX and CRO teams to design scalable tagging solutions aligned to business goals
  • Support cross platform and cross device tracking to deliver a complete view of customer journeys
  • Build and maintain advanced tracking solutions, including custom integrations and APIs where required
  • Define, document and govern data layer standards to ensure consistency across markets
  • Audit, QA and debug tags, triggers and data outputs to maintain data quality
  • Lead mobile app analytics using GA4 and Firebase, ensuring alignment with web tracking
  • Provide guidance, documentation and training to upskill teams and standardise best practice
  • Work with data governance stakeholders to ensure compliant, well structured data collection

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong commercial experience implementing and managing tracking with Google Tag Manager and GA4
  • Hands on experience with mobile app analytics, Firebase and BigQuery
  • Capability in server side tagging and modern tag management approaches
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft stack
  • Good understanding of GDPR, consent management and privacy requirements
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Clear communication skills, engaging confidently with both technical and non technical stakeholders
