Web Insight Analyst
Web Insight Analyst Banbury, Outside IR35, £ 400 day rate, 3-month initial contract, Hybrid (3x a week on-site).
This is an opportunity to shape how a growing retail-focused organisation understands and acts on its data. You will play a key role in building clearer, more proactive insight across sales and marketing performance, helping stakeholders move from reactive reporting to automated, actionable intelligence.

The team is evolving its analytics capability to better understand customer behaviour, campaign performance, and sales trends. They are investing in improved tooling, automation, and insight generation to support commercial growth. You will work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business.
The Role and Deliverables
- Analyse sales and marketing performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for optimisation
- Develop a structured approach to monitoring performance, including flagging unusual patterns in product sales
- Investigate root causes of performance changes across traffic, conversion, and acquisition channels
- Translate data findings into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders
- Support the move from manual reporting towards more automated analytics workflows
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve tracking, reporting processes, and data usage
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience working with GA4, SQL, Power BI, and BigQuery
- Ability to interrogate data and uncover underlying drivers of performance
- Comfortable communicating insights clearly to non-technical audiences
- Curious, proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving
- Experience working within retail or small business environments
- Ability to balance technical analysis with storytelling and stakeholder engagement
