Website Content Manager

We're on the hunt for a Website Content Manager to shape and evolveonline presence across multiple websites and customer touchpoints.

In this role, you'll be the go-to person for all things website content-overseeing everything from copy creation and SEO optimisation, to project managing new page launches and ensuring brand tone of voice is applied consistently. You'll work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to drive engaging, high-performing digital experiences.

Please note this role requires office days in Birmingham - £200-300 per day

What you'll be doing:
  • Lead content strategy and execution across multiple brands and platforms

  • Manage the full content lifecycle: from planning and writing to publishing and optimisation

  • Build and maintain content within a CMS (preferably Umbraco)

  • Ensure all copy is aligned with brand guidelines, tone of voice and SEO best practices

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, product, and digital teams to plan content that meets both business and user needs

  • Use analytics and data insight to inform content decisions and continually improve user experience

  • Support the wider digital and marketing teams on campaigns and feature rollouts

  • Maintain quality control by proofreading, editing, and ensuring accuracy across all content

  • Own and optimise processes for content requests, using tools like Trello or similar

  • Source, edit, and prepare images for use across digital channels

  • Drive commercial value through content-led decisions

What we're looking for:
  • 1-2 years experience in a digital content role, ideally managing a website in an ecommerce or B2C setting

  • Confident working with content management systems; Umbraco experience a big plus

  • Strong copywriting skills for various audiences, with SEO in mind

  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them

  • Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Experience working cross-functionally with a wide range of stakeholders

  • Knowledge of tools like Google Analytics (ideally GA4), Trello, or similar platforms

  • An eye for design and experience with basic image editing

  • A strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude, capable of balancing creative ambition with business objectives
