This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping a modern data ecosystem for a forward‐thinking organisation. You will help transform complex data into clear, accessible and high‐quality datasets that enable better reporting, analytics, digital tools and emerging AI initiatives.

The Role

• Develop and maintain scalable ELT and ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.

• Build and optimise transformation logic in Databricks using Python, SQL and Spark.

• Model datasets across Bronze, Silver and Gold layers to ensure clarity, consistency and usability.

• Work closely with teams across the business to translate their needs into reliable, well‐structured data models.

• Ensure data quality through validation, testing and clear documentation.

• Implement data governance practices and access controls using Unity Catalog.

• Support system transformations, including data migrations and quality assurance.

• Promote best practices in data engineering, analytics and development workflows.

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong commercial experience in analytics engineering or data engineering.

• Skilled in Azure, Databricks, Python, SQL and Spark.

• Experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform or Graph API is beneficial.

• Comfortable working with complex datasets and modern data architectures.

• Able to communicate technical concepts clearly to non‐technical stakeholders.

• Passionate about solving business problems with data and contributing to continuous improvement.
