The Company
A fast-growing, product-led scale-up in the online gaming and betting space is hiring an Analytics Manager to lead and shape its analytics function during a key growth phase; this is a high-impact hire reporting directly into the Head of Data, with ownership of analytics strategy, stakeholder engagement, and team development across a modern, tech-driven business.
The Role
This Analytics Manager role will lead the analytics function, manage a growing team, and act as the key partner to senior stakeholders across the business. The role blends people leadership, technical guidance, and commercial impact.
You will:
- Lead and develop a small analytics team (analysts & analytics engineers)
- Partner closely with senior stakeholders across Growth, Product, Trading and Commercial
- Translate business problems into clear analytical questions and measurable outputs
- Own prioritisation of analytics work across the business
- Set and maintain high standards across SQL, modelling, dashboards and documentation
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and review work where needed
- Drive the evolution from reactive reporting to proactive, strategic analytics
- Help scale self-serve analytics and improve data maturity across the company
Your Skills & Experience
Key requirements:
- Proven experience leading analytics teams or acting as a senior analytics lead
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Hands-on technical background in analytics (strong SQL essential)
- Experience reviewing analytics work and setting best practices
- Ability to prioritise effectively across competing business demands
- Experience working in fast-paced, product-led or consumer tech environments
Nice to have:
- Gaming, betting, or gambling industry experience preferred
- If not, experience working in regulated industries (e.g. FS&I / FinTech)
- Familiarity with modern analytics stacks (dbt, Snowflake, BI tools such as Looker/Omni)
- Start-up or scale-up experience also preferred (but not essential)
