The Role

In this role, you will take ownership of strategic initiatives that optimise approval rates and customer conversion. You will:

• Lead strategic projects focused on improving approval performance across multiple products.

• Use SQL to interrogate complex, multisource datasets and derive insights that drive commercial decisions.

• Design scalable data frameworks and tracking systems to enhance decision quality.

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Growth, Marketing, and Operations to integrate data, refine logic, and enhance decisioning.

• Support the evolution of a new decisioning platform, ensuring it balances customer experience, risk, and commercial outcomes.

• Bring analytical rigour to market changes, helping shape strategies across business and consumer product lines.

Your Skills and Experience

You will be a strong fit if you bring:

• Strong commercial experience using SQL in complex, large-scale datasets.

• A background in data-led decisioning environments.

• Experience using data to influence commercial strategy and optimise performance.

• The ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance multiple business objectives.

• Bonus: Python experience and work with modern analytics tooling.
