This is an opportunity to join a growing digital business at a pivotal point in its data journey. They are investing in their analytics capability and are looking for a Data Analyst who enjoys building structure, partnering with stakeholders, and delivering insights that directly shape commercial decision making.

Data plays an increasingly central role in how they understand customers, optimise performance, and drive sustainable growth. With a collaborative culture and a relatively small, agile team, you will have real influence over how analytics is used across the organisation.

The Role

  • Build and maintain robust data models using SQL, including well-structured analytical schemas
  • Develop and own dashboards and reporting within modern BI tools
  • Translate commercial and operational questions into clear, actionable insights
  • Partner closely with non-technical stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting requirements
  • Carry out exploratory and ad hoc analysis to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Help move the business away from manual reporting towards scalable, reliable analytics
  • Collaborate with data engineering to support the evolution of the data stack and self-serve analytics capability

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role
  • Advanced SQL skills and confidence working with data models
  • Hands-on experience with at least one BI or visualisation tool such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to a non-technical audience
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and taking ownership in a growing analytics function
  • Exposure to modern cloud data environments and transformation tools is beneficial
  • Understanding of marketplace, retention, lifetime value, or cohort analysis is an advantage
