The Role

You will

• Design and build Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets that meet evolving business needs.

• Translate stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable visual analytics.

• Develop semantic models, measures, and KPIs using best‐practice data modelling principles.

• Write and optimise DAX to support reporting and time‐intelligence capabilities.

• Use Power Query and collaborate with data engineering teams to shape data from multiple sources including SQL and Azure.

• Apply governance best practice, including workspace management and row‐level security.

• Present insights to non‐technical stakeholders in a clear, accessible way.

• Manage your own workload, ensuring high‐quality, timely delivery.

Your Skills and Experience

You will bring

• Strong commercial experience developing in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

• Advanced capability with DAX and SQL.

• Experience building reusable, business‐friendly semantic models.

• Proficiency with Power Query and data transformation techniques.

• Ability to interpret commercial requirements and turn them into effective analytical outputs.

• Clear communication skills, especially when presenting insights to non‐technical audiences.

• Collaborative working style with strong problem‐solving skills.

• Retail experience and awareness of the Microsoft data ecosystem, including Microsoft Fabric, are beneficial.
