A global, PE-backed marketing technology company is scaling its data capability following significant investment in infrastructure and data products. Operating across multiple international hubs, the business partners with major consumer brands to deliver loyalty and rewards programmes powered by customer data. With a clear strategy already defined, they are now hiring a Director of Data to execute, optimise, and commercialise their data offering.
This role focuses on delivering impact through analytics, data products, and emerging AI use cases. You will take ownership of execution, working closely with stakeholders across the business while remaining hands-on with data.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead execution of the data strategy across analytics and AI initiatives
• Drive data product optimisation and commercial impact from existing platforms
• Manage and scale a global data team (UK + offshore)
• Deliver predictive analytics and insight to improve client outcomes
• Improve data literacy across business functions and stakeholders
• Partner with leadership to embed data-driven decision making
• Scope and implement AI and agentic use cases where relevant
Key Details
• Salary: £120,000 – £140,000 + bonus
• Working model: Office-first (Baker Street, ~3–4 days/week)
• Tech stack: Snowflake, SQL, Python, Mixpanel, ThoughtSpot (transitioning)
