The Company
They are a major retail group operating a diverse portfolio of well-known brands, with a strong focus on digital performance and customer experience. They are investing heavily in experimentation and are building a dedicated function to elevate testing maturity across the organisation. The team works collaboratively with product, CRM, data and engineering, acting as an internal consultancy for all things experimentation.
The Role
In this Experimentation Specialist position, you will
• Support the development of a new Centre of Excellence for experimentation
• Translate business objectives into structured testing roadmaps
• Prioritise, plan, design and deliver A/B tests across multiple digital platforms
• Run hands-on experiment builds, primarily using Optimizely
• Analyse results and communicate insights to stakeholders across the business
• Ensure data quality through readiness checks, tracking validation and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver accurate implementation
• Support enablement activities to upskill cross-functional teams
• Contribute to experimentation governance, process improvements and best practice
Your Skills and Experience
You will be a strong fit if you have
• Commercial experience running and managing experimentation programmes
• Hands-on experience setting up and analysing A/B tests
• Knowledge of experimentation tools such as Optimizely or similar platforms
• A solid understanding of metrics, experimentation principles and test design
• The ability to build and communicate clear testing roadmaps
• Confidence working independently and engaging with cross-functional teams
• Strategic thinking beyond simple test execution
Nice to have
• Experience with user testing platforms
• Exposure to both CRM experimentation and website CRO
