A globally recognised direct-to-consumer beauty brand is hiring an AI / ML Engineer to join its London-based data team. The company is one of the fastest-growing prestige beauty brands worldwide and has built a strong in-house technology capability, using AI across customer experience, product recommendations and internal operations.

Their data and AI team owns the full value chain from data engineering through to machine learning products. This role sits within a lean AI engineering function responsible for deploying production ML systems and scaling new GenAI capabilities across the business.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building real AI products – from LLM-powered customer experiences to production recommender and forecasting systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build LLM-powered systems including RAG pipelines and conversational AI tools

• Develop production ML pipelines for recommendations, segmentation and forecasting

• Build scalable APIs and microservices for AI/ML applications

• Deploy and manage models using cloud-native ML infrastructure

• Implement MLOps practices including CI/CD, monitoring and model lifecycle management

• Work cross-functionally with product, data and engineering teams

Key Details

• Salary: up to £85k + 10% bonus

• Working model: Hybrid London (2–3 days in office)
