This is an opportunity to join a growing data platform team at a business investing heavily in modern data and AI capabilities. You will work in a collaborative engineering environment with strong technical leadership, contributing to the evolution of a cloud-based data platform while developing your own skills in Databricks and scalable data engineering.

The Role

You will join a growing data engineering team and play a key role in building and maintaining robust data pipelines within a modern platform environment.

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark

• Support CI CD processes and contribute to engineering best practices

• Deploy, monitor and optimise data workflows within a cloud environment

• Work across multiple squads, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders

• Contribute to data modelling and platform improvements

• Apply DevOps principles throughout the engineering lifecycle

• Develop your skills within a modern Azure and Databricks ecosystem

Your Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Python and PySpark

• Strong understanding of data engineering principles and pipeline development

• Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS or Azure

• Familiarity with CI CD and DevOps practices

• Interest in data modelling and scalable architecture

• Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to learning and development
