Lead Consultant - Analytics Consulting

London or Leeds (Hybrid, two days per week)

Up to £120,000

This is a strong opportunity to join a a well established data and analytics organisation operating at the heart of the UK financial services ecosystem. This role sits in their growing analytics consulting practice at a pivotal stage of its development.

You will lead high impact, analytics driven engagements, work closely with senior decision makers, and play a key role in shaping a modern consulting offering focused on real commercial outcomes rather than standalone products.

The Role

• Lead end to end delivery of analytics consulting engagements from problem definition through to insight and action
• Act as the primary client contact, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
• Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, commercially focused recommendations
• Shape project approach and solution design in partnership with analytics and data science teams
• Contribute to commercial activity including proposals, pitches and account growth
• Support the development of a new consulting practice, with clear progression into leadership as the team scales

Projects are typically medium to long term and cover areas such as customer acquisition, credit risk, fraud, pricing, segmentation, marketing, collections and customer value management.

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong background in analytics or data led consulting within financial services, fintech or payments
• Proven client facing delivery experience with senior stakeholder management
• Ability to connect analytical insight to commercial and strategic outcomes
• Experience across credit risk, fraud, customer lifecycle or customer value analytics
• Confident communicator, able to engage both technical and non technical audiences
• Hands on experience with data and analytical tools such as SQL, Python, modelling or visualisation
• Experience in a high bar consulting or advisory environment, including strategy or specialist data consulting
