Harnham is excited to be working with a leading global retailer that is looking for a data-driven SEO Manager to take ownership of their organic search strategy, driving traffic and revenue growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious SEO professional to make a significant impact within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

THE ROLE:

As an SEO Manager , you will be responsible for developing and executing the SEO strategy for a key site/brand, working closely with the SEO Lead and wider digital team. Your focus will be on improving site architecture, content management, and implementing best-in-class SEO techniques to enhance performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning and optimising SEO performance to increase organic traffic and revenue.
  • Collaborating with the SEO Lead to develop and execute the SEO roadmap and strategy.
  • Conducting keyword research and resolving technical SEO issues.
  • Managing a team, conducting 1:1s, performance reviews, and providing mentorship.
  • Monitoring site KPIs and driving data-led decision-making.
  • Identifying opportunities for growth and implementing innovative SEO initiatives.
  • Leading SEO link-building campaigns in collaboration with PR teams.
  • Staying ahead of industry trends and best practices to continuously refine strategy.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proven hands-on experience in an SEO-focused role with a strong technical background.
  • Experience working in a similar role with a high-street retailer ideally.
  • Experience managing SEO for a site that generates revenue through consumer traffic.
  • Expertise in keyword research, technical SEO, and link-building strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure SEO performance and impact.
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Botify, Pi-datametrics, and Google Search Console.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and team leadership experience.
  • Passion for SEO and a deep understanding of online marketing trends.
