You will play a hands on role shaping a modern data platform that supports real time decision making, working with large volumes of live data in a highly collaborative engineering environment.

As the business continues to scale, data sits at the heart of their growth strategy to support its fast user growth.

THE ROLE

You will join a data function and work closely with engineering leadership to evolve the data platform end to end. The role is highly hands on and focused on building robust, scalable solutions.

• Designing and building data pipelines from application layer through to the warehouse
• Working with high volume, near real time data streams
• Developing and maintaining data models to support analytics and product use cases
• Improving engineering standards, testing practices and production readiness
• Contributing to the setup and management of multiple environments, including staging and production

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Must have:

• Strong commercial experience in data engineering with previous experience in software development/DevOps.
• Previous experience or understanding of data modelling
• Strong Python, SQL and Terraform skills
• AWS services (GCP considered)
