Their AI team is expanding, with multiple initiatives already live and more in development. You will be joining a collaborative environment where data, engineering, and product teams work closely to deliver production-ready solutions.

The Role

You will act as a Senior Data Scientist with a strong engineering focus, owning end-to-end delivery of AI solutions in a production environment.

  • Lead the design, build, and deployment of machine learning and AI applications
  • Take ownership of key initiatives from concept through to production and business adoption
  • Develop solutions including AI assistants, recommendation systems, summarisation tools, and underwriting models
  • Work across Python, SQL, cloud platforms, APIs, and modern MLOps practices
  • Build and deploy solutions using LLM frameworks, RAG architectures, and agent-based systems
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business problems into scalable AI solutions
  • Contribute to best practices in governance, monitoring, and responsible AI deployment

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong commercial experience delivering machine learning or AI solutions in production environments
  • Expertise in Python and SQL for data analysis, modelling, and deployment
  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure, ideally GCP, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals and deployment best practices
  • Exposure to generative AI, LLMs, or retrieval augmented generation is valuable
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
