The Role

  • Own the strategy for collections and recoveries, driving improvements across journeys, operations, and partner performance.
  • Use SQL and data‐driven insight to understand behaviour, identify opportunities, and shape optimised decisioning.
  • Translate analytical findings into commercial action, balancing customer experience with strong unit economics.
  • Work closely with operations, finance, product, engineering, and external partners to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Contribute to wider strategic initiatives across both consumer and business portfolios.
  • Manage and mentor one direct report, fostering high analytical and commercial standards.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong commercial experience in analytics‐led strategy within lending, credit risk, collections, or a comparable data‐rich environment.
  • Advanced SQL capability and confidence working with complex, multisource datasets.
  • Ability to interrogate data independently and build defensible recommendations.
  • Experience influencing cross‐functional stakeholders and driving commercially balanced decisions.
  • A background in STEM or another quantitative discipline.
  • Python experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Other relevant backgrounds could include pricing analytics, strategy in a scale‐up, insurance pricing, gambling analytics, consulting with data capability, or fraud and payments strategy.
