This is a high-impact opportunity to take ownership of a well-established data governance function and drive its next phase of maturity. You will play a central role in shaping how data is managed, trusted, and leveraged across a complex, global organisation, with strong visibility among senior stakeholders and leadership.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior Manager of Data Governance will:

  • Drive the strategic direction and continuous improvement of the data governance framework
  • Embed governance practices into business-as-usual processes across teams and regions
  • Lead and develop a growing data governance team, providing clear direction and prioritisation
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across BI, technology, architecture, and business functions
  • Establish strong data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models
  • Improve data quality, defining metrics, and implementing remediation processes
  • Define and governing data domains and contributing to reference data strategy
  • Oversee data governance tooling such as Collibra, Informatica, or Data360
  • Support broader data, analytics, and AI initiatives through strong governance foundations
  • Promote data literacy and a data-driven culture across the organisation

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong commercial experience in data governance leadership roles within complex environments
  • Proven ability to scale and embed data governance frameworks across an organisation
  • Expertise across data governance, data quality, metadata management, data domains, and reference data
  • Hands-on experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or Data360
  • Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across both technical and business teams
  • Experience working in professional services, consulting, or similarly structured environments is beneficial
  • Comfortable operating in evolving environments with ambiguity and competing priorities
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive change and alignment
