An established UK-based consultancy specialising in pricing strategy is hiring a Tableau Developer to join their data team.

The Company

This role sits within a collaborative and close-knit environment, working on innovative projects that help clients, primarily in the insurance sector, stay competitive through data-driven insight.

The consultancy supports clients by collecting, analysing, and visualising pricing data, especially from aggregator sites. Their subscription-based model means consistent, high-quality deliverables are key.

About the Team

You’ll join a small Tableau team, working alongside:

• A Web Scraping Team that captures insurance quote journeys from competitor websites
• A Database Team that processes and transforms raw data
• Client-facing Analysts, who translate insights into strategic recommendations

Role Overview

You’ll work closely with the database team, ensuring that dashboards are not only visually engaging but also accurate and insightful.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and enhancing client dashboards
• Designing new visual templates to meet evolving business needs
• Validating data for accuracy—beyond basic ticket-based work
• Supporting insight generation alongside analysts

Experience

• Proficient in Tableau and SQL, with experience working in data visualisation
• Comfortable collaborating with teams to transform and prepare data for dashboards
• Strong analytical mindset with an eye for detail and accuracy
• Experience in the insurance sector is beneficial, though not essential
