Software Engineer

We’re partnered with a leading global hedge fund managing multi-billion AUM, now looking to hire a Middle Office Engineer to join their high-performing technology team and support critical trading and operational systems.

🧩 The Role

You’ll sit at the heart of the business, working closely with teams across client services, fund accounting, trade operations, treasury, and compliance to build, improve, and support core systems.

This is a hands-on engineering role combining development + production support, where you’ll design new features, troubleshoot live issues, and help modernise legacy systems in a high-performance environment.

✅ What You’ll Bring

🔹 5+ years’ experience in software development (Java essential)

🔹 Strong experience with SQL / relational databases (SQL Server, Snowflake or similar)

🔹 Experience supporting production systems (debugging, fixing, releases)

🔹 Understanding of CI/CD, testing, and engineering best practices

🔹 Ability to work closely with business stakeholders and translate requirements

🔹 Experience in middle office / trade ops / fund systems is a strong plus
