What you will do

• Design and build client-facing trading platforms and connectivity solutions serving institutional clients.
• Develop real-time trade blotter, P&L analytics and risk dashboards for traders and clients.
• Build low-latency APIs and WebSocket connections for client order routing and market data distribution.
• Implement FIX protocol support and custom client connectivity protocols.
• Develop responsive web UIs (React / Angular) for trading and reporting workflows.
• Own end-to-end delivery — from client requirements through to production deployment and support.
• Collaborate with sales engineering and clients to understand needs and drive platform adoption.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability for mission-critical client flows.

What you need:

• 7+ years of Java development in trading or fintech environments.
• Strong experience building client-facing trading systems, order management platforms or connectivity solutions.
• Solid understanding of low-latency systems, concurrency, and performance optimization.
• Experience with FIX protocol, WebSocket, or other client connectivity protocols.
• Proficiency with front-end technologies (React, Angular, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Comfortable with real-time data handling, market data feeds and tick analytics.
• Experience in crypto, digital assets or FX trading is a plus.
• A right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
