Junior/Mid-Level DevOps Engineer – £65,000 - 75,000 Basic salary

Harrington Starr is delighted to be representing our world leading client in the funds network space in their search for a Junior/Mid-Level DevOps Engineer. The client is a world class player operating globally with multiple locations worldwide. This Junior/Mid-Level DevOps Engineer will be instrumental in working within the organisations engineering group and will involve building systems and test automation infrastructure.

What you will do:

• Maintain and enhance existing Helm charts
• Become part of the Development Workstreams alongside Development, Infrastructure, Security and Database specialists
• Maintain and improve the Continuous Integration and Delivery systems and their usage in the development and infrastructure teams.

What you'll need:

• Kubernetes and Helm application deployments and troubleshooting
• Terraform or other IaC tools for deploying to the cloud
• Agile development practices.
• Using Configuration Management tools such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible to configure Windows and Linux virtual machines
• Bash scripting
• Cloud environments such as AWS is a must, Azure is “nice to have, but not required”.
• Configuration and management of Windows Servers
