Sitting within a high-impact Platform Engineering function, you’ll work across development and operations teams to remove bottlenecks in software delivery, advocate for DevOps culture, and build tools that enable engineering teams to ship software rapidly and reliably.

Your Role

  • Design, build, and support cloud and on-premise infrastructure (primarily AWS).
  • Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Git and Python.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform.
  • Manage containerised environments with Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with dev teams to improve observability, deployment processes, and platform reliability.
  • Build observability and monitoring solutions using Grafana, integrating key metrics to support proactive platform operations.
  • Create and enforce internal standards for infrastructure, CI/CD, and security.
  • Automate operational tasks to streamline development workflows.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of hands-on Platform Engineering or DevOps experience.
  • Proven ability to manage and secure applications in AWS.
  • Strong scripting skills with Python.
  • Solid understanding of containerisation concepts and how they support scalability, isolation, and portability in modern application deployment.
  • Familiarity with monitoring stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
  • Exposure to Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
