Senior Business Analyst – FinTech Trading Technology
Our client is a leading FinTech firm delivering sophisticated trading technology solutions to global financial institutions and wealth management businesses. As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between clients, commercial stakeholders, and engineering teams.
The Role
This is a highly visible position where you'll take ownership of requirements from inception through to delivery, working closely with clients to understand complex business needs and translating them into clear, actionable solutions for development teams.
You'll play a key role in product enhancement, client implementations, and strategic initiatives across a cutting-edge trading technology platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation across multiple projects
- Partner directly with clients to understand workflows, challenges, and objectives
- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, commercial teams, and software engineers
- Produce high-quality functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation
- Drive workshops, stakeholder meetings, and solution design discussions
- Support product development and delivery throughout the project lifecycle
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within financial technology or capital markets
- Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, and stakeholder management
- Solid understanding of structured products and equity derivatives
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, and technology-driven solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong commercial awareness and client-facing experience
Highly Desirable
- Wealth management or banking experience
- Exposure to trading platforms, order management systems, or investment technology
- Experience working in agile software development environments
