We’re partnering with a cutting-edge global fintech company at the forefront of AI-powered decisioning and analytics to find a talented Senior Software Engineer II . This is a high-impact role ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives on innovation and is passionate about cloud-native applications, AI/ML product development, and technical leadership within high-performing teams

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, build, and operationalize large-scale AI and ML-driven applications and APIs.
• Lead the development of scalable, low-latency cloud-native applications, primarily using Java and AWS services.
• Work collaboratively with architects, cloud engineers, and product leads to shape AI/ML product requirements and roadmaps.
• Contribute to and guide the design and testing of proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives.
• Take technical ownership of assigned projects, mentor junior team members, and drive best practices across the engineering lifecycle.
• Participate in recruitment activities and help shape a high-performing development team.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, well-tested code using TDD practices.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to development processes and tooling.

Key Experience We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in Java development with strong Spring Boot expertise.
• Solid background in building cloud-native applications , particularly using AWS services such as S3, SQS, Kinesis, or Apache Flink.
• Strong knowledge of stream processing , low-latency systems, and microservice architectures.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding junior developers.
• Proficient in designing and developing RESTful APIs .
• Deep understanding of test-driven development and CI/CD practices.
• Strong communicator with the ability to articulate complex ideas across technical and non-technical teams.
• A proactive mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Nice to Have):

• Hands-on experience with AI and ML frameworks .
• Working knowledge of Python , Docker , Kubernetes , and modern DevOps tooling.
