Harrington Starr has partnered with a leading global hedge fund seeking a Software Developer to join its high-performing technology team in London. This role is crucial for building internal applications and systems used across multiple business areas from back to middle office.

Responsibilities:

  • Building robust, reusable applications and services that support critical business functions
  • Collaborating with back and middle office teams to solve complex technical and business challenges
  • Taking ownership of projects throughout the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to deployment and support
  • Driving innovation by challenging existing processes and identifying opportunities for improvement

What we're looking for:

  • Strong software development experience using C#, .NET
  • Experience working with SQL databases
  • A passion for technology and engineering excellence
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Experience delivering software solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • A strong academic background (1st or 2:1) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline
  • Excellent A-Level Grades - A*/A's
