Director of Strategy
i2 Group, a Harris Computer company, is hiring for a Director of Strategy. This permanent position will be performed on a remote basis with a requirement to visit the i2 Office in Cambridge, UK as and when there is a business need to do so (circa 2 days per month). As Director of Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping i2’s strategic direction and forging high-impact partnerships. You will be a key member of the Leadership team, reporting directly to the EVP, and will line manage the Community Champion. Your focus will be on driving strategic initiatives, building alliances, and expanding i2’s influence and reach across global markets. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute corporate strategy in alignment with i2’s mission and growth objectives.
- Advise the Leadership team on market trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging opportunities. Collaborating with key stakeholders including Director of Product.
- Lead cross-functional strategic programmes to drive innovation and operational excellence. Collaborating with key stakeholders including VP Research & Development, VP of Sales & Marketing and VP Operations.
- Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic alliances, partnerships, and joint ventures.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including technology partners, government agencies, and industry organizations.
- Represent i2 at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance visibility and influence.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
- Drive initiatives to expand i2’s presence in new markets and sectors.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to support go-to-market strategies.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, high performance, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Mentor and develop talent, promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Provide strategic feedback to inform product development and roadmap prioritization.
- Support cross-functional initiatives that enhance i2’s reputation and relevance in the intelligence domain.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, strategy, international relations, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in strategic leadership, alliance management, or business development within the software, technology, or intelligence sectors.
- Track record of building and managing successful partnerships and alliances.
- Experience in leading teams and managing direct reports.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
- Familiarity with intelligence analysis tools and markets is a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
- Ability to represent i2 Group with professionalism and enthusiasm.
