Harris Global are currently looking for a Global Head of Workplace & Productivity to join our client on a permanent basis. This role will require 3 days per week onsite in London, this is non-negotiable.

The successful candidate will also come from a large, global organisation with a complex technology function.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the global strategy for digital workplace services, ensuring employees across all regions have a seamless, secure and productive technology experience.
  • Own the vision and roadmap for modern workplace technologies including Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, identity services and end-user computing.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the employee digital experience, using feedback, usage insights and performance metrics to shape future service design.
  • Lead the organisation-wide adoption of workplace technologies, ensuring maximum engagement, utilisation and business value.
  • Design and deliver change, communication and training strategies to support successful rollout of new tools and ways of working.
  • Partner with regional IT leaders and business stakeholders to ensure consistent adoption of digital workplace standards across global teams.
  • Champion employee experience and behavioural change to embed new technologies into day-to-day working practices.
  • Act as executive sponsor for workplace transformation programmes, ensuring alignment between technology investment and business outcomes.
  • Own the global Microsoft 365 ecosystem strategy, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online and Power Platform.
  • Establish governance, standards and best practice for collaboration and productivity tools.
  • Lead the adoption of AI-enabled productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot and related generative AI solutions.
  • Develop frameworks for AI adoption, responsible use, training and value measurement in partnership with data and AI teams.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and intelligent tooling to enhance productivity and reduce manual effort.
  • Define strategy for end-user computing, devices and workplace infrastructure to ensure a modern, secure and scalable environment.
  • Oversee identity and access management strategy in collaboration with cyber security teams to ensure secure access to systems and data.
  • Standardise and simplify workplace services across the organisation to improve consistency, efficiency and user experience.

Skills:

  • Extensive experience leading global digital workplace, end-user computing or employee technology functions within complex, multi-regional organisations.
  • Strong background in delivering enterprise-wide technology transformation and driving measurable adoption of workplace tools.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online and Power Platform.
  • Proven track record of improving employee experience, productivity and engagement through technology enablement.
  • Experience leading organisation-wide change management, including communication strategies, training programmes and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated delivery of AI-enabled workplace initiatives, including Microsoft Copilot or similar generative AI technologies.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management within secure enterprise environments.
  • Experience defining governance frameworks, operating models and standards for digital workplace services.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a global Matrix organisation, influencing senior stakeholders across multiple regions.
  • Strong leadership capability with a focus on culture, adoption and behavioural change rather than purely technical delivery.
