Senior Cloud Engineer (Hybrid)

Harris Global are currently looking for a Senior Hybrid Cloud Engineer to join our well known client on a permanent basis. This role will require 3-4 days per week onsite in London and will require working on an on call rota.
You will support and evolve a modern hybrid cloud environment with a strong focus on AWS. You'll play a key role in migrating on-premise infrastructure to the cloud, improving automation and ensuring the reliability, security and performance of critical enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Support and develop a hybrid cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on AWS.
- Deliver and support cloud migration projects, helping transition on-premise services into AWS.
- Build, maintain and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices.
- Manage Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory and Entra ID environments across hybrid platforms.
- Implement and maintain secure, resilient cloud infrastructure, monitoring and operational processes.
- Work closely with infrastructure, networking and security teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
- Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Skills
- Strong commercial experience with AWS in a hybrid cloud environment (essential).
- Experience supporting Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory and Entra ID.
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure migration or cloud transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible.
- Experience with automation, CI/CD and modern infrastructure management practices.
- Good understanding of infrastructure security, monitoring, resilience and networking.
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to problem solving.
