IT Technician

We’re looking for an IT Technician to join a brilliant company in an office-based position where you’ll play a key role in supporting and managing the company’s IT needs. The IT Technician Role

Serve as the first point of contact for any IT-related issues across the business.

  • Set up and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and other hardware.
  • Install and update software, ensuring all systems remain up to date and efficient.
  • Support and manage the company’s core business system (ERP).
  • Set up IT equipment and accounts for new starters.
  • Work with third-party providers when external IT support is required.
  • Provide hands-on support to teams across the business with their technical needs.
  • Maintain and update basic IT documentation.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who’s enthusiastic about IT, eager to learn, and comfortable working with people at all levels of the business. You should enjoy problem-solving and be able to communicate clearly and confidently. A proactive mindset and a willingness to take responsibility for tasks are key.

Some basic IT knowledge or previous experience would be an advantage, and relevant education or certifications in areas like computer science, networking, or Microsoft technologies will be a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a similar subject.
  • Certifications such as IOSH, Cisco ECMS1 & ECMS2, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals are desirable.
